The friends hold an annual fund raising celebration evening at the Barn Hall in Bookham. The ranger provides an update on recent activity, and a guest speaker gives a presentation on an aspect of nature.
Previous projects supported by funds raised by the Friends of Bookham Commons include the construction of bird hides, the building and replacement of footbridges, signage, notice boards and much more.
The friends have also helped fund a natural children’s play area on the Commons.
